Church Camp '13.

Had so much fun during these three days.

I really did. 

So sad that it has to come to an end so swiftly. 

And now back to reality, back to my lecture notes and revision for my next quiz.

But I'm recharged, and I'm contented for these three days.
So grateful to have these people as my family.
I can't thank God more for putting them in my life.

And now it's time to fight once more.
You can do this Lawrence.

Bring it on!

Lesson learned.

Can only say that lack of communication could be really fatal sometimes.
But, anyway glad that everything's back to normal again.
The problem and tension that's building up is resolved too.
Hope this lasts.

My awesome church, CITY HARVEST.

Last Sunday my church officially moved into a new building and started its first service.
Everyone was anticipating for it, including me :D
And it was AWESOME!
Everything was just so big and grand.
Especially the LED screen, yeah you heard it right, it's not a typo, the screen in front on the stage is an actual LED screen.
Not a normal projector screen. You'll see later.

And of coz on this day I took my camera with me once again,
took quite some photos.
Lazy to write anymore, so just let the photos describe my new church building. :D

Before the service starts, we were waiting at the lobby.

Finally after a countdown we went into the new hall.

And so after the service we went to Sunway Pyramid, Manhattan Fish Market for our lunch
It was a great lunch with a lot of laughters.
And it's actually a farewell for the cg leader for E10(my cg E14's cg leader, Elvis's girlfriend) as she's gonna go abroad to get her masters in psychology.

saw this there. the ferrarri from transformers 3! HAHA and i have a feeling it will transform into Dino at anytime. lol

I AM BACK HOME AGAIN! HAHAHAHA :D
But it's only for 2 days. going back on Sunday again.
Will be coming back this time because i booked a cheap ticket last year during the promo(to and fro only for 100+)

Gonna be a good son this time though. Won't be on the net for too often and will try to make time to accompany my parents. :)

I've constantly been controlled over by my emotions and anger.
Was exhausted and whining about everything and pouring out my anger towards people around me and get into fights that i worked so hard not to get into.
And i'm not proud of it. it's all your fault gta :(

Thank you for speaking to me today through the sermons during the service and also cell group.
I promise you i won't stay like this anymore.
I'm overwhelmed once again God.

But it's my dear cg leader- Elvis Wong, he proposed to his gf, my former cg leader(lol) right after church today.

He gave everyone a surprise, saying that he was outstationed and wasn't in KL then suddenly out of no where he popped out and proposed after a very very nice video was played :)

so sweet right? :)

p/s: it's my first time ever witnessing an actual proposal just right in front of my eyes.

Really happy for them and was so excited haha
(even helped out at the projector crew to play the video and music :D)

With two significant new features:
1. Vari-Angle LCD Screen.

2. Nikon's FIRST dslr to have this feature- HDR mode:

 Without HDR

Then with HDR mode- by converging two pictures (when you're shooting for a photo), one underexposure and one overexposure to produce a photo that sets the colour balance just right, not too dark, and not too bright as well.

 

With HDR

But most importantly, the price is VERY VERY reasonable. 

I can't say it's cheap but for a model so new and with these new features, I can proudly say that the price is definitely worth it.

And even more, the price in Sibu is even cheaper than in KL LOL so shocked when my dad told me the price in Sibu and thank God Sibu got this model even though it's still so new. :)

p/s: This time I'm definitely getting you. hiak just wait for me my babe. You're gonna be mine very very very soon! :D

Chuck FTW

As you can see (obviously from my twitter- i was obsessed with Chuck haha) I've been catching Chuck(a very very nice tv series fyi) since last year (credits to Jackson for giving me the series)

And yesterday(i mean Monday night in the states, which is early morning yesterday in Malaysia) Chuck's Season 4 season finale premiered!

I dl and watched it this noon. One word again- AWESOME.

Seriously this last episode is really really nice. It's like a combination of nice, touching(REALLY REALLY touching) and even funny in just one episode.

It's really touching how Chuck fights to save Sarah's life(i'm not gonna say what happened to Sarah to avoid spoilers) but anyway it's really touching that Chuck actually like, 'changed' into another person and was willing to do just anything for Sarah :')

And in this last episode there's a lot, i mean A LOT of flashbacks between Chuck and Sarah for the last 4 seasons.

The moments when Chuck was with Sarah. Made us, the fans recall what we've been through with this series for 4 whole seasons! How sweet were both Chuck and Sarah when they're together. It's really touching and nostalgic.

 

And most importantly, their wedding vows- which are the part i love the most in this episode.

You'll know why:

p/s: today was just like one of those feel good days. really really thank God for today. I reminded myself and remembered to give thanks and his blessings were always so abundant, so faithful. :)

Peer pressure

There are so many people around me that are better than me in many aspects.
Especially in their academics.
Geniuses everywhere.

Even she is better. 

Sometimes I tend to forget that I'm in the midst of JPA scholars. 
And they don't get their scholarship for no reason. 

This constantly reminds me that I'm not good enough and I haven't work hard enough.

Reminding me that I'm not a genius like the others, I have to study my ass off hard to achieve what they can achieve.

Guess that recently I'm giving myself too much pressure. 

But I just can't help it but to think I'm not good enough. 

And I just wish to be better to deserve her.she's a great girl

I guess this pressure is good too in some way.

At least I've got the motivation to work myself to be better.

Because love, love sometimes can make people do something really crazy.

But please don't be too rough on yourself. 

You're also good in your own way my dear lawrence. 

Don't be so discouraged and lack confidence.

Remember you too, got something that the others don't. 

So smile :)

Something really, really, really, AMAZING happened to me today.
I don't want to be too specific but anyway know that it's REALLY amazing is okay ady.
HAHA

I was sick for the past few days, my mood was unstable and I was constantly frustrated.
I can't even enjoy my weekend this week due to the crapload of maths homework. (I HATE YOU)
I even woke up late for church today ==
And I can't catch the ktm in time(it just drove off as soon as i reach) and so I had to wait for another half an hour.
During the wait, that's when I first calm myself down, and prayed.

After today, I was totally refreshed.
You see, you have to know that all of these are just tests, life can't be just as smooth as you wish it to be.
There will be tests in your life to see if you're strong enough to hold on.
To see if you have faith in Him.
To see if you can hold your anger and continue to trust in Him to lead your through all these hardships.

Because everything happens for a reason.
And only through these test, then you can learn to grow, to mature and have the strength to overcome these matters when they hit you again next time.
There's always a reason God let these things happen in your life.
It's just that you can't actually see it and you'll just have to believe, this is what we call faith. :)


p/s: still about the thing that happened today, it was really really amazing. I still can't quite believe it even until now HAHAHA! miracles do happen, with God. :D
