200th.

So i'm gonna end Year 2011 with my 200th post this year.
LIKE A BOSS.

Haha anyway still remember i set some new year resolutions for myself at the beginning of the year.
Among my resolutions are:

1) To get a DSLR.
2) Get all A's(min) in all my A-Level final exams.
3) To be fitter and taller this year, start working out in gym.
4) Put in more time & effort practising my guitar.
5) Love God and be more faithful.
6) Not to be so self-centered, love and be willing to spend more time with the people around me.
7) Change my 'loso' attitude.

So now the time's up and let's see how much have i actually achieved.

1) Yeah this is the first goal that i achieved this year.

(actually i shouldn't say that it's a goal hahaha) 

But yeah i'm happy i got myself a Nikon D5100 half a year ago,

and since then it has been accompanying me through tonnes of awesome photos. :)

2) Currently i'm still having my study break back in Sibu preparing for my third, and the last final exam for my A-Level Course in January.

So this is it Lawrence, just stay strong and keep fighting for one more month and then you can have all the fun you want to after that. haha

3) Thanks to some of my housemates, i'm hitting the gym regularly nowadays starting this year.

And yeah i kept fit and weigh lesser now, not exceeding 65 anymore actually hehe

But then it's a bad news for my height as i don't seem to grow taller as much as i want to..
lol but it's okay, i'll still continue growing higher (i guess? *fingers crossed)

not me la hahahaha just my goal :P

4) Yeah i did constantly practise my guitar everyday except for some days when i'm really really busy.

And yeah i also started serving in my cell group as a guitarist.

Even out of my expectation, i started doing song covers and share them to youtube too!

I think that's a really big breakthrough for me :)

Continue giving me support as your encouragements will be my motivation to keep on going!

5) I can only judge this on my own so yeah, i think i do achieve this goal.

Thank God for my awesome church in KL and my lovely cell group that provides the best environment for me to grow spiritually.  

But i'll still continue to be even more faithful and won't stop learning and grow both mentally and spiritually.

6) I admit sometimes i'm still a bit selfish when it comes to taking out my own time to help or accompany the people around me.

Because as you know i'm the kind of person that won't wanna waste a minute of his time, either studying or playing his computer games and watching movies and series.

But this year i tried my best, so i'll give it a pass for this goal. :)

7) The last, and the most interesting one- my LOSO attitude.

(Everyone's been complaining bout this since the past XD)

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Aihhhh i can't say i've changed it a hundred percent but with the 'help' of an 'annoying' friend- THE FREAK, 

I can say i've at least become a lil' bit better than i was before la. :P

A Silhouette to Remember.

So last week we had the most anticipated event of our A Level days- Prom Night.

(at least for me :P)

Okay so like last year, i won't be blogging too much about it but rather i will just post my buddy's post here, his summary of that night is good enough so i don't have to write about it again :P

So on the day of the prom, at around 12pm, me and some of the committees went to the hotel earlier to help set up the pa stuffs and the decorations.

Then after that around 5pm onwards, more and more people start arriving at the hotel.

And what do people do when everyone is all dressed up so smartly and beautifully?

Of coz take photo like crazy lah! hahahaha

Then to kick start the night, A Level student association(including me) performed an opening dance

Post-Trial Exam Trip.

These are one of those days when I'm really really busy(not with exams) that I don't even have time to continue playing Modern Warfare 3 and Battlefield 3, or watch the dramas and movies accumulated since my trial exam started 2 weeks ago.

Why so busy you may ask.
Main reason is we're having our annual prom night next Thursday.
And as one of the committee members of the a level student council, I'm busy attending meetings and going hotel to do some survey on the ballroom and the audio systems for that night.
(Now I know the hardwork of the people working behind the scene :P)

And also I have to attend dance practices and band practices for the prom.
So yeah since Monday my daily schedule was literally non-stop activities from morning till night.
(Really hope that our prom will be a success, at least let us all really enjoy it that night. We really put in a lot of effort for it this time.)

ANYWAY,
I promised myself not to slack off too much from my blog(actually too much ady, i've not been visiting my blog or reading friends' blog updates ever since i went to penang lol) so this post will be a simple recap of what I've done after my trial exam last wednesday :D

1. 16/11-18/11: Went to Penang literally straight after our last paper by bus with my coursemates and all my housemates.
2. 18/11-20/11: My parents came to KL so went back to meet up with them and went up to Genting Highlands.
3. 20/11(Noon): Brought my parents to my church.
4. 20/11(Night): Went out with housemates to treat a friend dinner to thank him for driving us around when we're in Penang.

So on Wednesday right after our last paper, we went back home, packed our things and straight away rushed to the bus station to board our bus to Penang.

Midnight I went out with 2 housemates and my Penang friend makan angin and took pictures of the penang bridge. (credits to Cherylene's tripod stand :D)

The next day they suddenly brought out a birthday cake and gave me a big surprise when we went to the beach HAHAHA (actually i was kinda disappointed the previous day-my birthday, coz I thought that this year i won't be having any birthday cake ady xD)

My two coursemates even challenge the limit to 'fly' haha (even I don't quite dare to do this :P)

At night we went to Hard Rock Hotel. It was BEAUTIFUL!

The next morning we went to the beach super early around 5.30am(several of us only) coz i wanted to take photo of the sunrise since i can't get any sunset shot earlier on at the beach because it suddenly rained D:

and so the sun rises. actually the sun rose on the other side of the beach so we can't see it but at least i think these photo are worth my time too :)

Then we went up to Penang Hill that day. the weather there is very cool just like up on Genting.

And how can I forget about all the food we had there :P
After all, this is PENANG!!

On Friday I went back to KL and meet up with my parents that just came that day.

Genting First World Hotel. Just loving the weather there.

The Eiffel tower kids car ride.

The next day we went to a lion dance semi finals competition.

And that night my dad brought me and my mum to the open air bar at First World to enjoy the beer and the live band. They're really good!

And on Sunday I brought my parents to my church back in Subang Jaya.

Then after that I went back home, 

And that night we went out for dinner and treat a penang friend as a token of appreciation for driving us around when we're in penang. :)

So yeah, that should be enough to sum up my 'adventures' after my trial exam.

Oh yeahhh I nearly forgot, this year I received not only one, but two of the most AMAZING presents I've ever received in my life from two of my best best bestest friends. 

Was really really touched and overwhelmed by them.

i wanted it so badly but i never told anyone and timo just happened to know how to read my mind and bought me one.. :''')

hahahaha really really grateful and happy for this present. (fyi those night sceneries in some of the photo above are all taken using tripod, if not the whole photo will just be a blank black photo or blurred. now you know the importance of a tripod? :P)

And like a friend who posted on my fb wall that day, I'm indeed a really lucky and blessed boy. 

And yeah I have some really really awesome friends around me.
