How's life treating you?

Just a lil' update on how is my life recently.
(If not later my whole blog will just be a place for me to emo lol)
These days, they weren't that bad actually if you look on the bright side, despite the extreme emotions occasionally. (You know la, Scorpios.. - refer to my previous post :p)

Anywho! Junior orientation was last Friday and we have 56 new juniors.
After some speeches, some games and the junior performances, we the seniors also have some performances in store for them.
The band.
The dance teams.
Feel free to check out our performances that day!

The juniors. Can't believe I'm a senior now..

Funny thing is that the senior(faci's) that came that day(not even half of our actual class), are even more than the juniors. lol

**********

Moving on.
Yesterday morning I finally went to try out Antipodean, a place where I've always wanted to go since a few months back but just never got the chance to.
And yesterday, finally got to try its awesome breakfast set!
MEHEHEHE
(I have this thing of wanting to try out new things for at least once and only once I did it, I will be satisfied and then only I will stop whining for 520942734810932 times wanting to go there. lol)

p/s: Huge thanks to April, prolly all the new dining places(almost all) I've gone to before are all made possible because of her and her car. :) Next time you come Sibu I bring you around and eat all the ho liao there k? Haha

Guess who's the happy boy? ;)

**********

And just this morning, I participated in a run - Neon Run organised by my church.
It was a 8km run and I finished it in 58 mins.
Kinda sucks actually lol
But it's okay I had fun, and this is without any prior running trainings ok, at all! Haha
And guess what, the first female runner to cross the finishing line is at 39 mins.
Felt like a loser lolol
And for male, it's 26 mins.
Really crazy man..
I'm a finisher!

**********

And just a lil extra something, something special I wanted to share with you guys.
During raya a few weeks ago when I'm back in Sibu I watched Chinese Idol on satellite with my parents.
And this girl here, 许明明, one of the contestants, I fell in love with her ever since I heard her singing.
It was a love at first sight, a massive, massive crush.
LOL
Okay this might sound a bit exaggerated but just look at her photos below:

A girl with smiling eyes and such a drop-dead-gorgeous look that plays guitar and somemore sings really really well?? How can your heart not melt for her? T-T

In short, she is the definition of perfect.
Now you know why I was so madly in love with her. (And she was 19 only lol)

**********

Ahaha I think that's all for my update this time.
So till then, have a nice day everyone! :D

p/s: I think you should also know that I actually got a mentee(junior) who I have to 'take care' of in the mentor-mentee system that looks really alike with 许明明! I mean like what are the odds? Hahaha life's amusing in its own ways sometimes.

lol.

12th Annual Public Health Campaign 2013. (Part 2)

Well, I guess one photo will not be enough for such a huge and memorable campaign.
So here goes.

With the handsome guys.

Started off my first day at the Exhibition site with Shi Hao.

Emcee partner Cherylene.

The entire protocol team.

Emcees and the ushers.

Emcee-ing for the first time. Great experience for me.

The sponsorship department.

One of the photos I like the most. Just love everyone's smile in here. :)

Love this shot too! Credits to the photographer.

Last day, last counter at Blood Glucose test counter. And with that last prick, I'm done with the last public and marks the end of the 12th PHC!

***************

I had so much fun, and I learned a lot, truly.
Although the journey was stressful, but it was all worth it at the end of the day.

A Silhouette to Remember.

So last week we had the most anticipated event of our A Level days- Prom Night.
(at least for me :P)
Okay so like last year, i won't be blogging too much about it but rather i will just post my buddy's post here, his summary of that night is good enough so i don't have to write about it again :P
(actually i've become really lazy to blog already nowadays D:)
Anyway! Here it is,
Go check it out! :D

haha but i will still blog with the photos i took that night.
After all, a photo speaks a thousand words, yes?

So on the day of the prom, at around 12pm, me and some of the committees went to the hotel earlier to help set up the pa stuffs and the decorations.

Amazing Week.

Just so you know I'm having my trial exams next week.
So I'm kinda like keeping myself away from my laptop as much as i can.
Okay at least trying my best okay.

But then again there were a few AWESOME events going on during the past week.
So I 'have to' blog bout them lol
I won't blog bout them in detail though but rather I'll just let the photos take care of the job.
(bet a lot of you guys are so relieved now you don't have to listen to me blabber here for very long :p)

A compact post to sum up the two major events in the past hectic yet amazing week.

8th Annual Korean Talent Show Festival

So last night I went to my school with a few of my friends.
We heard that there's this Korean talent show going on in our school mph last night so we decided to go check it out.
After all, it's totally free, and there are KOREAN GIRLS korean people everywhere.
So why not? ;)

Anyway, only when we arrived we got to know that this talent show is organised by the Korean Society from Ampang.
And this year it was held in our university.
When we were there, there were Koreans literally surrounding us from every direction.
Feels like we've come to a little Korean town.(but I'm able to blend in real fast XD)
The talent show was cool too.
There were around 20 performances! o_O And a lucky draw in the end.
Besides some awkward pauses between the mc and some of the performers, the overall event was smooth.
And the performances are really nice too, there were combination of korean and local students performing, from singing to dancing, rapping, saxophone to taekwondo performance.
Personally I really like the taekwondo performances, and the guy dancing sizzling hot girl bands' dances and the last wakakaku dance crew's hip hop dance.

So below are some photos I took during the performances.
They are not very clear as I'm sitting at the back and I can't get a clear shot on the stage too.
So just bear a little with me okay?
Just so at least you can know what's going on last night.
:)

****************************

before it starts.
the opening ceremony- drum performances, it was actually really nice too :)
the mc's of the night. elegant right? they're trying to wear contrast clothing. p/s: her hair(left is sooooooooooo long and straight and the long gown(right) is so beautiful)
a duet.
two cute dances by three 10-year-old girls :)
a very very cheerful dance
the two guys are rapping and the girl is the vocal. she's really pretty actually haha
saxophone performance
hot hot hot hot.. i really don't get it why are their legs soooooooooooooooooo long. woooh
the taekwondo wood-breaking performance
guess what are they doing? they're dancing to 'sorry sorry' by super junior! LOL
the girl was also a black belt, so cool! and the guy at the right is a bit like tae yang haha
three korean guys singing
a chinese girl singing and talking in korean too! o.O
A chinese crew dancing.
interview session
two malays(i think) dance performance
this crew is really cool. especially the guy with the golden hair, everyone was like 'wahhhhhhhhhhh his hair is so cool' (even cc said so LOL!)
the cool guy got interviewed lol
this korean girl sang 'rolling in the deep'! o.o
her voice wasn't bad too :)
hahahahaha this is the guy that I mentioned earlier, every song that he danced to are by korean girl bands. imagine him dancing hahaha everyone was so high!
hot dance by a chinese girl crew.
wakakaku in action. heard that they even emerged as the champion in the 'so you think you can dance' malaysia version a few years back. so cool!
lucky draw time. prizes are from ramen to mosquito net(lol?), digital camera and even a freaking handphone! o_O
nahh in the end I didn't win anything too lol
the group photo at the end. i somehow sneaked into the photographer gang and just simply snapped some photo lol

****************************

p/s: on the other note, while I was on the way to my uni for the Korean Festival, at the entrance I was mistaken by the Korean ushers there for a Korean for not only once, but twice. They chatted with me in Korean asking me questions and stuffs until I said 'ermm.. I'm sorry' LOL

p/s 2: and I don't blame them at all! HAHAHA
