8th Annual Korean Talent Show Festival

So last night I went to my school with a few of my friends.
We heard that there's this Korean talent show going on in our school mph last night so we decided to go check it out.
After all, it's totally free, and there are KOREAN GIRLS korean people everywhere.
So why not? ;)

Anyway, only when we arrived we got to know that this talent show is organised by the Korean Society from Ampang.
And this year it was held in our university.
When we were there, there were Koreans literally surrounding us from every direction.
Feels like we've come to a little Korean town.(but I'm able to blend in real fast XD)
The talent show was cool too.
There were around 20 performances! o_O And a lucky draw in the end.
Besides some awkward pauses between the mc and some of the performers, the overall event was smooth.
And the performances are really nice too, there were combination of korean and local students performing, from singing to dancing, rapping, saxophone to taekwondo performance.
Personally I really like the taekwondo performances, and the guy dancing sizzling hot girl bands' dances and the last wakakaku dance crew's hip hop dance.

So below are some photos I took during the performances.
They are not very clear as I'm sitting at the back and I can't get a clear shot on the stage too.
So just bear a little with me okay?

this crew is really cool. especially the guy with the golden hair, everyone was like 'wahhhhhhhhhhh his hair is so cool' (even cc said so LOL!)

p/s: on the other note, while I was on the way to my uni for the Korean Festival, at the entrance I was mistaken by the Korean ushers there for a Korean for not only once, but twice. They chatted with me in Korean asking me questions and stuffs until I said 'ermm.. I'm sorry' LOL

p/s 2: and I don't blame them at all! HAHAHA

Nature Shots

So there was this event going on in my uni this week- Go Green Week.
And they organised a photography competition about our mother nature.
With my coursemate's encouragement I signed up for it.

So last week lao da(my cutest housemate) brought me to a park- Taman Jaya to try out our luck finding something to snap on.
And there I was snapping photos at the park while sipping in some fresh air, calming down my mind in between.
Delightful.

In the end, I didn't win the contest.
But it's alright.
You know it's actually my first time to enter a photography competition too.
And at least this is a really nice experience for me and an opportunity for me to learn.
After all, I'm still learning to be better.
:)

moral of the day: never be arrogant, even when you're confident in something, continue to be humble at all time.

Norah Jones ♥

You should know that actually I don't really read books.
But ever since I bought that book- 'Eat, Pray, Love' out of some weird sudden passion for book,
(but i think it's also because it was quite famous and I watched its movie and think that it was really nice)
I've been 'forcing' myself to at least read for like 3-5 chapters per day to keep myself going.
And then I started listening to Norah Jones's songs too recently.
And tell you what, it's really a nice combination of her songs and reading a book.
Damn soothing I tell you!
Best jazz music ever for me! 
And makes you enjoy the book more.
Don't believe you can try for yourself! haha

Anyway I just wanna say, Norah Jones is definitely another singer added to my favourite female artist list.

A Dream

Last night I had a dream.
It's really rare that you can still remember your dream.
It was really vivid.
But the only thing is I can't remember the people inside.
I can remember the whole dream like where was I and what was I doing.
But I can't remember the faces in the dream.

There's this one girl throughout the dream.
This one special girl in the dream.
This one special girl by my side all the time.
But I just can't remember her face no matter how much I tried to picture it.
Maybe this dream came a bit too late?
And they say precognitive dreams may be possible too in normal humans! o.o
*le sigh


p/s: sometimes I really wish I could record down my dreams and then watch it later.

The nfs this time seems so much interesting than the previous versions, (except for nfs: underground, which is still the most epic nfs series). By watching the game trailer we can see there's now stories and action scenes besides racing with cars this time. change = good. wooooooooh 

Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 3

(Release Date: 15 November 2011) 
MODERN WARFARE. by just looking at these two words are enough to get me excited! woooooooooh! damn cool story and plot from the previous 2 games. Hope it gets even better this time!

Assassin's Creed: Revelation

(Release Date: 15 November 2011) 
The game that won the Best Game Award. The game that allows you to climb walls, run on rooftops, assassinate enemies, and leap off a cliff. Yeah it's that cool. Can't wait to play this one, the last assassin's creed game created a very interesting suspense at the last scene, making all the players very keen to play and to know what will happen next in the next game.

Halo 4

(Release Date: 2012)
Legend of all first player shooting games. No need me to describe how awesome the game is, just count its fans out there then you'll know. haha

p/s: damn these game trailers are getting cooler and cooler these days. really can't wait to play. it's gonna be a really busy november xD
